Corrections
We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we fix them quickly and say so here.

Our corrections policy
When a factual error is confirmed, we correct the page and add a dated note explaining what changed. Routine updates to an estimate, such as a new valuation date, are logged in the profile's own update history. We never quietly change a figure.
Recent corrections and updates
| Date | Page | What changed |
|---|---|---|
| Richest People in the World | Demo dataset removed. The first ten profiles are now real people, each with a net worth figure dated 3 November 2026 and sourced from the Forbes Real-Time Billionaires list. | |
| Methodology | Rewritten to describe how sourced estimates are built, checked and dated, replacing the previous preview text. |
